Life these days

The past couple of weeks have been crazy! I don’t know where the days have gone? So much has happened, and it feels like I’ve barely managed to get half the stuff I was supposed to do done. I guess it’s just one of those periods, eh?

Last Wednesday I had an exam, and today there’s another one coming up. I’m generally alright with exams, but these MBA tests are taking it to the next level. It’s no longer a question of sitting an exam in a single topic like “branding”, no, it feels like you’re expected to know everything about everything, with exams like “Globalisation and Global Citizenship”, covering International Law and European Politics. It is exciting though, so I shouldn’t really be complaining though… We all need to let off a little steam once in a while though, huh?

Oh well, it hasn’t all been bad though. Last week was both Halloween and and my Birthday, so the weekend has pretty much been spend partying and celebrating! To be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of Halloween, but this year my friends and I really put in the effort and got ourselves some fancy costumes, and travelled across London to go to Studio 338 – which is basically in the middle of nowhere – near Greenwich! Despite of having to get 3 busses home, it was totally worth it though. The place was awesome, and I quite enjoyed dressing up!

Credits to my awesome friend Eerika for taking the Halloween pictures. Check out her blog!

Also, I always try to make my Birthday party something really special, so this year, despite of missing my amazing friends from Denmark, and suffering from the night before, I carried on, and the night turned out to be pretty great! It’s an awesome feeling having all the special people in your life surround you. Here’s a little snap of some of my course mates and I on the night:

So what now? Are things back to normal? Hopefully, they will be. I’m looking forward to getting a bit of routine back in my life again, and until then, all you can really do is bust out the scented candles, and start preparing for Christmas. As you can tell, Camden Council has!
